Introduction The skin is the largest system in the body and serves many protective purposes. The assessment of the head includes the review of internal and external anatomy and findings related to the scalp, eyes, ears, nose, mouth and throat. Each of these body parts can provide signs of underlying health abnormalities in related other body systems.
