What Type of Feedback Do Student Teachers Expect from Their School Mentors during Practicum Experience?

  1. To complete as well as document essential examinations for the patient and also all aspects of mental checkups (Agudo & de Dios, 2016).
  2. To develop a good relationship with nurses and the patients.
  3. To acquire skills for safe delivery and efficient care to the patients (White & Forgasz, 2016).
  4. To gain competency in provision of quality care that would be based on evidence.

Timeline for Practicum Activities

January –February: Complete and document essential examinations for the patients as well as other mental examination

March –June: Develop good rapport with the receptor and patients

July –August: Receive an approval for winter practicum

September –November: Complete and issues the learning plan

November – December: Issue the final report for the experience.
