( I began the assignment further below to give an idea of how I want to go about this essay) For my community presentation, I have chosen teen pregnancy/sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s). I chose this target population due to the increasing rate of teen pregnancy in the community. Teen pregnancy continues to rise in the south side of San Antonio, TX. and teens do not realize the consequences teen pregnancy can have on their lives. I am hoping to conduct a presentation to raise awareness and educate with proper accurate information and prevention at Planned Parenthood. Ideally, abstinence would be XX but realistically kids will continue to have sex, so I plan to incorporate conversations about contraceptive So much negativity is mentioned through protestors at site that I witnessed, but I want to learn what other resources they offer and how they go about reaching the community.
